Simba-Oryx Cottages are ideally located on Kenya's stunning Diani Beach, 30km south of Mombasa, in a private beach plot along the Indian Ocean.

Simba-Oryx Accommodation

Simba-Oryx has a total of 10 self catering cottages, well furnished with an African outlook accomodating for 2 up to 6 guests per cottage. All Simba-oryx cottages have running hot and cold water, a granite kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, cutlery and crockery, a dining room with lounge as well as a toilet and shower. The cottages also have a veranda overlooking the blue Indian Ocean with a direct cool breeze.

The cottages are all fitted with Lamu ceilings to boost privacy and comfortable Mwule beds. The windows are all big enough to allow good air circulation in the rooms which have additional ceiling fans. Simba-oryx also provides Bed linen, towels and mosquito nets for all their cottages.

Simba-oryx Location

Simba-Oryx Cottages are one hour drive southwards from Mombasa on Diani Beach Road, opposite Bougain Villa Residence, 300 meters before Hotel Neptune. The cottages are easily accessible by Matatu (public traffic), Taxi or privat car. There is a private parking area inside the plot.

Simba-Oryx Activities

Apart from swimming, snorkelling, sun bathing and walking along the outstanding sandy beach, at Simba-oryx cottages, one can also indulge in boat rides, deep sea fishing and diving. Daily excursions to the near Shimba Hills (National Park) as well as Wasini Island (snorkelling, dolphins) are recommended. Shops, restaurants, bars and discos are easily accessible both with private, taxi or public transport.
